The Jacob Brantson Files: Book One

U.S. Navy Veteran and Security Consultant Jacob Brantson is contacted by someone from his past, now serving in the upper echelons of government, seeking to hire him for an off the books job. Reluctant after hearing the details, he remembers that the Colonel and his team saved his life years ago in the Middle East, and eventually accepts the job, immediately plunging him into a behind the scenes war between the power elites. Jacob goes on the run after the third attempt on his life, accompanied by Julia, an FBI Agent originally sent to investigate him. He forms his own Herrenlos (a masterless team), consisting of a former Navy SEAL from his past, an Army Intel Agent and two hackers.
